Flower Garden

December 14, 2017

There are many factors that make a perfect cocktail, and one of those lies in the presentation. The glass, the garnish, the color, the transparency… each aspect contributes to the making of something beautiful, something that makes the person being presented it feel special. When we found these vintage glasses at our favorite local boutique liquor store (The Austin Shaker) David, who regularly hunts for vintage glassware at estate sales and online, told us how rare this style was. “I’ve been doing this for many years, but have only come across this style twice. On the other hand, you see the coupes with the etched flowers all over the place.” When we purchased a set of these coupes with the beautiful straight lines, we knew we had to make a cocktail that will emphasize the art that is this glass. Something crystal clear and light in color fit the style, thus the Flower Garden was invented.
